South Africa 2014
Our trip to South Africa was amazing to say the least. We started in Cape Town and toured there for a few days and ended the trip in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Both places were beautiful but couldn't begin to compete with the in-between memories, the game drives. I won't bore you with scenic photos of the beginning and end of the trip. Here are a few of my favorite animal photos.

Maui 2011
Aloha! We arrived in Maui Saturday afternoon to lots of rainy weather. Fortunately, it's calmed down and we haven't seen a drop since. We arrived at our timeshare condo, which I remember being very nice when we looked at the models, but it's even nicer than I remembered. Here are some photos of of it before we destroyed it. We were a little disappointed that there were only 6 pillows on the bed though.
The highlight of Judy's trip so far was winning $10 off Scott while golfing. She was given 2 strokes per hole and, of course, played the best game she has ever played, 107! That was Monday...... We played again Thursday, this time a much harder course where they tied, winning one nine each. However, Judy's still $10 ahead and having a hard time getting the payoff.
We weren't aware when we booked this trip that February has the highest concentration of whales migrating from Alaska. Tuesday, we took a catamaran trip to the island of Lanai and witnessed many, many whales on the way there. Here's a video Scott took of a whale giving us the moon multiple times and a couple of still shots.

We took a walk on the beach this morning and ran into this sea lion sunbathing.
After that we ventured to the north coast and took a picnic to the beach/park to watch the surfers. Here's one of the local surfers.
Here he is on the water, Not bad for a beginner!
That's the week so far. Today we're off to explore the north central coast ending the day at Mama's Fish House.
